ENJOY
I would really like to have the pattern we are a Hokie family and our 6 yr old granddaughter would love to have the this for when she sits and watches VA TECH games
ReplyDeletehere is the pattern :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much that was so very nice of you to share with me my Hailey will be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure
ReplyDeleteIn round 2 of the beak, do you mean 4 sc in each around until the end?
ReplyDeleteAlso, should I be working in back loops only for the rest of the round or just for the stitch after where you said tpl?
DeleteNo just 4 sc. Do not work in back loops only
DeleteYour final product has orange in the blanket, but there is no orange row in the pattern. What is a "chick foot decrease"? The pattern has the last row as maroon but your pattern has it ending in white. Is there a sheet with corrections on it?
ReplyDeletesorry, it's been a long time since I wrote this. I did edit it,so hope that is more clear.
ReplyDeleteThanks for writing back. When do you sew on the beak? Mine doesn't look anything like yours at all. not sure what I did wrong. My feathers are way too big to fit between the arms, Is it supposed to be row 6 that is orange b/c your final product has 2 rows of white before the last row of maroon and your row of orange only looks like it goes all the way around the row. Perhaps I will start new and try again.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter. Use whatever color sequence you like. Sew on beak after finishing the head.
ReplyDeleteWhat does tpl mean in the beak directions?
ReplyDeleteTriple crochet
ReplyDeleteDo you have a tutorial? I am not good at reading patterns and have tried 3 times to do the beak and not able too. I will be and Auntie in October and want to make sure the baby gets a Hokie Lovey.
ReplyDeleteNo, sorry I do not. What are you not understanding?
ReplyDeleteI can't get the beak either, very very confusing.
